I bought a ticket to the Diorshow!

THIS IS GONNA BE A LONG ONE. BRACE YOURSELF.

I recently had a lash crash where I was COMPLETELY bored with my lashes. My eyes just weren't doin' it for me, but I didn't want to hail to the falsies. So one Friday, after numerous eye burning sessions that MAC "Zoom Lash" gave me, I toted myself to Sephora, studying mascaras much longer than anyone ever should, I was on a mission. I purchased Sephora's best seller:

Diorshow Mascara
Product Claims: Sephora says this is "A cult-followed mascara that leaves lashes, ultra-thick, long and curled."
Product Description: Blah Blah Blah
Price: $24.50

Let me just say, when I purchased this I was geeked up! I just knew I had found a new love. BUT! When I actually applied the mascara it was SUCH A LET DOWN. Feeling "let-down" doesn't even accurately describe my emotion. First off the brush is GINORMOUS, which (at Sephora) lead me to believe that I would get some volume and drama, something you can slap on for a night-out event and let your eyes show out!...No. It was like putting a hair brush to my lashes, and even after numerous applications, also done in different ways, I was still very unimpressed. What's funny is my Bf later told me, she had the same complaints with a different Dior mascara she bought months before I purchased mine. To be real, I wanted to go the drug store and pick up an old old old faithful with predictable performance for less than half the price:

 Great Lash:

After total shock in the performance of the Diorshow, I kept thinking HOW could it have possibly failed me? Everyone loved this crap! lol jk, but seriously it came highly recommended, how? Then I thought, maybe it didn't show too well because of two factors

1. Maybe it didn't show too well up against my skin tone?
2. Maybe it didn't perform miraculously because my eyelashes are naturally curly...like really curly. Thanks Ma and Pa!
....I'm not too sure.

To sum things up, I returned it. I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend Diorshow to anyone.

MIDWEST JUNKIE VERDICT
